Our Story

I am Dr. Vetrivelmurugan Managing Director of SRT INDUSTRIES IMPORT and EXPORT.
Formerly Lakshmi metal mart as a non ferrous metals Scrap trading in 1972 by my be loved father "Paathirakadai Shri. D. Veluchamy" a well known sucessful businessman in Madurai District Tamilnadu India.

My father was starting his career as an employee at the age of 14 in a Scrap Shop in Madurai because of poor economic level in the family.

After so many Struggling he started his own because of the blessings of his owners Shri. A. P. T. Vairamani Nadar and Shri. A. P. T. Durairaj Nadar in 1972. Still from that we are in this field both Scrap merchant and Manufacturing and trading of Domestic, Hotel, Kitchen ware and Hospital use Aluminum utensils and Trading of stainless steel and Brass Utensils.

This is the only business for our entire joint family. So my father Guided me from my Secondary school age compulsorily working with our experienced employees one hour in the evening daily in our Scrap shop.

Because this fortunate opportunity even though I have finished my Doctorate in Psychology, Masters in Business Administration and Masters in Special Education, I have learned much things in this Scrap and Utensils Merchanting field for the past 20 plus years from my father.

So I am always proud to be a business man than a Doctor.

So that we strongly believed we will succeed in this Export business because we are having five Mantras.

So we are in this business in the third generation. Traditionally as my Sons is also supporting our business even though they are medical Doctor and Advocate. So as my father said quality and customer satisfaction is our two eyes.
